Carat + Antwerp gets off to a great start

Premiere edition of Carat +, a show dedicated exclusively to diamonds, diamond jewellery and diamond-related services, kicked off today at Antwerp Expo yesterday, the main exhibition ground in the Belgian diamond capital.

The exhibition floor was buzzing with activities with buyers from both Europe and other parts of the world dominating the booths. Exhibitors from 8 different countries had their jewellery on display. Both exhibitors and buyers were extremely happy with the manner in which the show was handled. Although the common consensus was that a little more effort in attracting more buyers could go a long way.
