CIBJO 2014 annual congress to be held in Moscow

CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation chose Moscow as the venue for its 2014 annual congress. The Congress will be hosted by the Russian Jewellers' Guild.

The main congress venue will be the 19th Century Hotel Metropol. Sessions during the final two days of the event will be held at Estet Jewellery House. The Congress is slated between May 19-21, 2014, with pre-congress meetings on May 17 and May 18.

The Congress serves as the official venue for the meeting of the CIBJO Assembly of Delegates, and will see an attendance of members of national jewellery and gemstone associations from more than 40 countries and representatives of many of the industry's most important commercial bodies. The congress is also a forum for CIBJO's professional commissions, and venue where its Diamond, Coloured Stones, Pearl, Precious Metals and Gemmological Blue Books are discussed and updated.
