CCTV images of Hatton Garden jewellery heist are released

Images reveal that the robbers moved in and out of the area through a side door in Greville Street

The Hatton Garden jewellery heist inquiry has further developed with CCTV images of the heist being released, reports say. During the heist 72 safety deposit boxes were emptied and the contents were taken away from the firm in wheelie bins and bags.

The CCTV images show burglars orchestrating the robbery, in which three men were seen standing outside Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Ltd in central London, as per Scotland Yard., reports suggest. Also, investigations revealed that Met was informed on Good Friday about the intruder alarm being activated but Met took the stance that the alarm was did not require a response. The police are investigating this un-responsive reaction by Met.

Scotland Yard has noted it was informed about the burglary on Tuesday.

The CCTV images further revealed that the robbers moved in and out of the area through a side door in Greville Street, reports say. Also, the men visited the store twice – on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The police noted that investigations are going on and the CCTV images along with other ‘material’ are being evaluated. There are no arrests made so far. The police has also asked the business houses around the heist area to provide any information on the heist, reports say.
