The meeting took place on Wednesday at the bourse complex in Ramat Gan where IDE president Shmuel Schmitzer and Bumi Traub, President, Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association thanked the representatives of ODC and invited the organization to bring about its tenders in Israel. Deputy Diamond Comptroller Sigal Shidlovsky offered a helping hand to the organisation too.

ODC’s managing director Toby Frears said that he is pleased by the noble gestures and is thankful for the warm welcome. Frears explained that ODC is a state-owned firm and the official shareholder is the Botswana Mining Ministry. One of the intentions of the firm is to turn the country into a rough diamond capital.
