A blood donation camp was organized on September 17 in S G Zaveri trading hall, Bharat Diamond Bourse, BKC. The camp was organized under the leadership of Shri Kirit Bhansali to mark the occasion of the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The camp was held under the encouragement of former CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis and Mumbai BJP President Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
On this occasion, 143 persons donated blood which resulted in collection of 143 units which were later donated to Jaslok Hospital. This camp was organized as part of Seva Saptah, which was being organized by Maharashtra BJP, across different locations. There were several types of donation services rendered as part of this saptah. Among these donations included: goggles for the blind, fruits for Covid19 patients, food for the differently abled persons, laptops for underprivileged students, etc.
Speaking about his initiative Shri Kirit Bhansali said, “We believe in service and therefore it was our honour to have been able to conduct this blood donation camp and help needy patients.”
