Ambassador Gillian Milovanovic to serve as KP Chair for 2012

With the US having being selected by the Kimberly Process (KP) to hold Chairmanship for the year2012, Ambassador Gillian Milovanovic will serve in the role on behalf of the US. She has been appointed by Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Jose W. Fernandez.

Ambassador Milovanovic is the first woman to serve as KP Chair. She has previously served as Ambassador to Mali and to Macedonia and held senior positions at U.S. Embassies in South Africa, Botswana, and Belgium. She holds an extensive economic and business experience.
