Alrosa’s revenues up 45% in 2010

In 2010, Alrosa achieved diamond production of to 34.3 million carats, an increase of 5 percent over 2009. Its sale of rough diamonds in 2010 amounted to 39.5 million carats, a jump of 51 percent over 2009, reports say.

The company’s revenues rose 45 percent to $3.98 billion and net profit valued $414 million ($122 million in 2009). Debt last year amounted to $3.4 billion, which had reduced from almost $4 billion in 2009, reports suggest.
