Alrosa’s diamond sales in March rise 1% on y-o-y basis

PJSC ALROSA announced rough and polished diamond sales results for March 2017. Total diamond sales in March 2017 amounted to USD 566.6 million, 1 percent higher compared to the same period last year. Rough diamond sales valued USD 554.2 million, while polished diamond sales generated revenues worth USD 12.4 million.

“In March, we continue to observe stable demand in almost all categories of rough diamonds, which is a confirmation of the optimism of market participants shown during the jewelry exhibition in Hong Kong," - said Yury Okoyomov, Vice President of ALROSA.
