ALROSA organizes free hockey matches and master classes in Yakutia within the Cheer festival this April

ALROSA continues the Cheer festival in the cities of Yakutia. The first stage of the spring festival will be held on April 12-18, 2018. It is initiated and organized by the company with the support of the Russian Hockey Federation in Mirny, Udachny and Aikhal. As part of the festival, cities residents will be able to visit hockey games, open lessons and master classes free of charge.

Famous athletes Mikhail Vasiliev, Igor Grigorenko and Alexander Boikov will conduct master classes and open lessons for all those who wish to come. They will talk about the development of hockey and share the secrets of the playing technique. Athletes will also participate in matches as part of local hockey teams. In total, 19 sports events will be held and more than 5 thousand people will be able to attend them.

At the end of 2017, stars of basketball and acrobatic rock'n'roll visited Mirny, Aikhal and Udachny in terms of ALROSA's partnership with VTB United League and All Russian Federation of Dance Sports and Acrobatic Rock'n'Roll (FDSARR).Within two weeks, there were held free master classes, open lessons and exhibition matches for residents of northern cities; several thousands of children and adults attended those events.

Having received positive feedback from the participants, and seeing the great involvement of employees, ALROSA decided to develop the experience of sports and cultural events in Yakutia with the participation of titled athletes and artists.
