At the 12th Annual Circle of Distinction Dinner of the American Gem Society Beryl Raff, Chairman and CEO of Helzberg Diamonds, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Triple Zero Award was bestowed upon Howard Hauben, CEO of Centurion, and The Bromberg Family: Frank Bromberg, Jr., Ricky Bromberg, Clayton Bromberg of Underwood Jewelers (Florida) and Bromberg Jewelers (Alabama).

The event took place on July 30 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

“The contributions tonight’s recipients have made to the industry, through their work and efforts, have left an indelible mark that will endure for years to come,” said Ruth Batson, CEO of the American Gem Society and AGS Laboratories, as she addressed the audience. “This year’s event is one for the recordbooks! We sold out of tickets to our dinner, which is really a testimony to tonight’s honorees.”

The awards were sponsored by JCK, while Julius Klein sponsored the reception in the Terrace Room, which preceded the dinner. The American Gem Society Laboratories treated each of the guests to their proprietary Angular Spectrum Evaluation Tool, commonly known as the handheld ASET.
