This meet brings together representatives of more than 100 Chinese companies and 15 select Colored Gemstones suppliers from India.
GJEPC Chairman Mr. Vipul Shah says, “China is one of India’s foremost trading partners, with gem and jewellery exports from India to China recording an impressive figure of USD 91.04 million during the period January-November 2014. We are pleased to organize the 3rd edition of India-China Coloured stone BSM in Panyu. The last two editions which were held in Jaipur met with an astounding success and gave us insights to the enormous potential gemstones category possess.” He added that the meet is expected to consolidate trade relations between the two countries and to develop close synergy and increase direct exports of gemstones to the country.”
Select Indian companies will participate at the meet, most of them from Jaipur. With the event slated in China, Indian exhibitors are hopeful it would attract more traders from across China. The traders will get to witness the best quality gemstones from Jaipur, the global hub of gemstones.
Mr. Rajiv Jain, Regional Chairman of the Indo China Colored Gemstones BSM adds, “It is a unique opportunity for a cross-section of select gemstones suppliers from India under one roof – an opportunity that may not have been possible if the Chinese traders had come in their individual capacities to transact business.”
