The participation at the pavilions this year seems encouraging – with 20 exhibitors at the stainless steel jewellery pavilion and 90 in the fashion jewellery pavilion, over 480 diamantaires exhibiting at the Diamond Pavilion which would make it one of the biggest in fair across the world, reports say. The Diamond Pavilion would incorporate separate sections under the Antwerp World Diamond Council (AWDC) and the Israel Diamond Pavilion Institute (IDI), and groups of exhibitors country-wise and independent participating companies, as per reports.
A Hong Kong Premier Pavilion (HKPP) will include over 30 Hong Kong avant-garde jewellery brands, the Fine Design Pavilion & Fine Gem Pavilion, some product-wise group pavilions including one of the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA). The Designer Arena would incorporate 10 designers from mainland China, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong and Taiwan regions.
The event is expected to host 2,233 local and overseas exhibitors, and would become the largest edition of the platform so far, reports say.
