13th JJS to be bigger and better

The 13th Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) popularly known as the “December Show’, is being organised on a bigger scale this year. The event is slated at the JECC, Sitapura encompassing a larger exhibition area and will be held from December 19-22.

During the event’s New Exhibitor Meet organized for new exhibitors of JJS-2015 on 8th September, at Hotel Royal Orchid, JJS Convener- Mr. Vimal Chand Surana mentioned that the show last year was organized at JEEC. However, owing to the popularity of the event growing, each year would culminate into a long exhibitor wait list. Therefore citing the ever increasing demand of exhibitors to participate, JJS decided to add another 150+ exhibitors. JECC accommodates all the modern amenities, and it is envisaged that the JJS can increase to the tune of 33 percent to 50 percent this year, announced, Mr. Surana.

The Secretary of the JJS, Mr. Rajiv Jain addressed the gathering of over 200 jewellers at the Meet stating that the JECC had 1 lakh sq.ft. pillar less hall in which as many as 550 booths were setup last year. “This year the exhibitors at the show can expect better flooring, lighting, carpets, lounge, as well as parking and toilets facilities. As many as 5000 cars can be parked and the security arrangements will be further enhanced,” he added. Also, Rajiv Jain further mentioned that the exhibition site is only 17 km from the Ajmeri Gate at the Tonk Road, has been appreciated by all. The shuttle service will operate on each day from Ram Niwas Bagh, Investment Ground and Ram Leela Ground to take the visitors to the show site.

Media Coordinator of JJS, Mr. Ajay Kala noted that JJS-2015 will be organized on the ‘Ruby’ theme. He said that during the show, “jewellery, stones, publications, machineries will be displayed. In fact, there will be a separate section for machineries. The new venue will take the JJS to a new level,” he added. Mr. Kala also informed that golf cart would be used between two halls for visitor conveyance.
