Break The Chain: BDB Issues Guidelines To Its Members

As per the in-house notification issued by the BDB to all its members it is amply clear that BDB unitedly extends full support to the government in order to control spread of Covid19. They have issued the following notification to their members, who have solemnly agreed to adhere to the guidelines suggested therein.

On the basis of clarification received and the Orders by Government of Maharashtra dated on April 4 and 5, 2021 all cargo services and export and import of cargo and manufacturing activities that include all incidental activities involved in the manufacturing process and for completion of production of cycle, and pre-despatch certification, statutory filing requirements etc., may be permissible.

Follow the Covid protocols of April 4th and 5th 2021 as per guidelines:

• Card holders recommended by every member will be that member’s responsibility and shall sit in their respective office. If found roaming or standing on the ground floor or common area their access card will be suspended.

• Members of the industry may take note of the same and act accordingly and ensure that all necessary precautions to maintain Covid protocols as mandated by the government of Maharashtra in the orders and clarifications and all future orders and directions are strictly complied with to stop the spread of Covid19.

• The members alone shall be liable for any action or steps taken by the authorities against them for use of the office premises and BDB shall not be liable for the same in any manner whatsoever. The members are utilizing the premises at their sole costs, risk and consequences.

Mandatory Guidelines

As per the government Guidelines, from 10th April 2021, for persons below 45 years of age negative RTPCR report which will be valid for 15 days from the date of the report is mandatory for entry in BDB complex / premises from the date of report.

For 45 years and above age, Covid19 vaccination certificate (fully vaccinated) is acceptable failing which negative RTPCR report which will be valid for 15 days is mandatory for entry in BDB premises.

General guidelines


• A proper face mask is compulsory inside BDB premises

• Maintain 6 feet distance

• No spitting allowed inside BDB premises

• Standing and roaming on ground floor is not allowed

• Tower basement elevators should be used as per new capacity defined BDB holds right to take disciplinary action against defaulters
