Bharat Diamond Bourse takes strict measures to protect members from Coronavirus

Bharat Diamond Bourse, India's hub of cut anf polished diamonds convened a meeting yesterday regarding its plan of action to protect the premises from COVID-19.

First amidst the list of decisions was to let companies know that they are allowed to only call 50 per cent of their employees to work. Offices will share a list of employees who are to be allowed into the premises till March 31st with the security.

Only 50 per cent of the access cards will be effective till March 31st. Offices with cards lesser than 10 need not reduce cards. However, offices with cards more than 19, must give access to only 10 card holders. 

Visitors are not being allowed into the premises since March 17. Also, members without masks shall not be allowed into the premises or the common area at Bharat Diamond Bourse.
