DTZ-OZGEO (Pvt) Limited is planning to set up a diamond ore processing plant worth about US$25 million in Zimbabwe's Chimanimani province, says a news report. The plant is likely to go on stream by December 2014.

The company has done widespread exploration work on its diamond claims in Chimanimani and has concluded that the deposits are capable of producing 2.5 million carats, says the news source. The exploration was reportedly undertaken by geology experts from Russia. As per the news report, the company says it is continuing to explore for diamonds and create strategies on how to profitably mine them.
