Swarovski, the world leader in precision-cut crystals and fashion jewelry, has initiated a new marketing program, giving business partners the opportunity to mark products embellished with Swarovski crystals with a distinctive new seal.

Since 1895, Swarovski has been delivering crystals of an unmatched quality, craftsmanship and creativity, supporting artistic visions. From September 2014, in order to build and maintain one strong, single unified brand, Swarovski crystal are to be marketed under the new name ‘Crystals from Swarovski’, and authenticated with a specially created seal.

The new seal offers business partners whose finished products feature genuine Swarovski crystals a special opportunity to benefit from the added value surrounding Swarovski’s history, quality, and long association with the world of fashion, jewelry, accessories, interiors and lighting. Moreover, it enables business partners to take advantage of an exclusive and comprehensive marketing support program.

The clarity of the new brand name, reinforced by the seal, will help instil consumer confidence. The seal, however, is much more than a verification device: it is a sophisticated tracking system that gives heightened control over how the brand is used. Every seal has a unique identification number that distinguishes genuine Swarovski crystals from counterfeits and enables customers to establish the authenticity of the hangtag or sticker by verifying its tracking number.

Based on the concept of the traditional seal, which was historically used to prove the authenticity of items of value, the ‘Crystals from Swarovski’ seal is created using high-security hologram technology on silver foil, and bears the words ‘Crystals from Swarovski’, founder Daniel Swarovski’s signature, and ‘Since 1895’. Along with the introduction of the seal is a customized marketing program offering special communication platforms to selected business partners. This is designed to leverage the prestige and power of the Swarovski brand, thereby increasing customers’ business potential by creating real value for consumers.
