Two Israeli diamond companies - , S. Schnitzer Diamonds Ltd. and Rafi Ben-David Diamonds Ltd. have finalized booking office space in the upcoming International Gem Tower (IGT) facility in New York’s Diamond District, during the recent visit of the project’ sales team to Israel.

S. Schnitzer Diamonds Ltd. is a leading diamond company of Israel specializing in manufacturing round and fancy shaped diamonds. Shmuel Schnitzer, founder and partner of the company, also an honorary life president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and of the Israel Diamond Exchange, and member of the board of directors of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA) said, "We have been looking to expand our New York operations for quite some time and with the global diamond business in a steady recovery, we decided that a purchase in the International Gem Tower is the smart move for our business.”

The other company - Rafi Ben-David Diamonds is a diamond manufacturing company specialising in fancy shaped diamonds such as princess, radiant, cushion and Asscher cuts.

The IGT is expected to be completed in 2012. “With steel going up fast, concrete being poured, and glass curtain wall scheduled to arrive at the end of next month, it is fantastic to see how our vision is becoming a reality," Haas concluded.
