Opulence unveils its season’s collection

Opulence, a diamond jewellery brand for the ultra-luxury segment launched its season’s collection including a special line designed by jewellery designer Saba Ali Khan. The entire collection is a basket of couture, the award-winning La Reina Collection and everyday wear jewellery.

The design highlights were those created around rare flat rose cut diamonds set in floral and butterfly motifs, along with a collection of diamond studded titanium jewellery the first such for the Indian market. Bobby Kothari, Chairman Opulence said, “These designs share an intimate chemistry with the wearer – each piece is designed to follow the contours of the body making the jewellery almost a part of you”.

Saba Ali Khan’s designs are inspired by the Opulence logo and are light designs ideally suited for an evening or casual wear. The entire new collection of Opulence was unveiled at a party in Delhi attended by socialites Muzaffar Ali, Manav Gangwani, Tarun Tahiliani, Prateek Babber, Sanjay Sharma amongst others. Models and celebrities walked the ramp showcasing the jewellery including Soha Ali Khan who displayed the collection by Saba Ali Khan. “The Opulence logo of off-centered concentric circles has inspired my designs. They symbolise evolution and hence a representation of today’s Indian woman.” said Saba Ali Khan. “And nobody else could have enhanced and launched my designs in a better way but my sister Soha.” added Saba.

Opulence is a brand from the house of DTC sightholder Jewelex, one amongst the top five jewellery exporters. Talking about the luxury industry, Mr. Bobby commented “I believe India is making waves across the globe for many good reasons but when it comes to fashion and luxury, we seem to be nowhere on the map. My dream is for the world to stand up and notice the Indian talent in the luxury market, and our vision at Opulence is to be the global luxury brand from India”.
