Omega is the official timekeeper for Olympic Games 2010

Watch brand Omega will be the official timekeeper for the Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouver, and has opened a 50 square meters boutique in the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to keep alive the Olympic fever. The boutique is scheduled to offer events that coincide with the Olympic games to feature across the 17 days from February 12 onwards. The boutique will operate all through the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and its events will feature the Omega ambassadors that are scheduled to take place during the event.

The boutique offers the entire range of Omega timepieces, also featuring the Olympic Games-themed "Timeless Collection" and the Seamaster Diver 300M "Vancouver 2010" Limited Edition watch, created to signify the 24th occasion when Omega was the Olympic timekeeper. The Olympic Winter Games are slated to take place at Vancouver, British Columbia. The Paralympic Winter Games, are scheduled to begin on March 12, for 10 days.

The Omega boutique was opened on December 4, 2009, with an interior décor reflecting the themes of the sun, water, the earth and, of course, time. In its capacity as official timekeeper in the games, Omega will be involved in timing every Olympic event, data handling, displaying the results at the venues, and distributing the games’ results across the global media.
