Mountain Province gets approval to trade on NASDAQ

Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. has received approval to be listed on the NASDAQ under the symbol MDM. It expects to begin trading on the exchange on December 31, 2014. Mountain Province Diamonds is a 49 percent participant with De Beers Canada in the Gahcho Kué JV located in Canada's Northwest Territories.

Patrick Evans, Chief Executive Officer of Mountain Province Diamonds, commented: “We are pleased to announce our listing on the NASDAQ. We believe the move to NASDAQ will improve the visibility of our stock, enhance trading liquidity in our shares and provide us with greater exposure to institutional investors.” The Company’s common stock will continue to trade on the NYSE MKT until the market close on December 30, 2014.
