Kaufman is appointed president of DDC of New York

After the sudden resignation of Moshe Mosbacher from his role of presidency at the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York, after claims of financial irregularities were made against him, the organization has brought some calm having appointed Reuven Kaufman as its new president. Also reported is that Basant Johari is vice president, Benny Simkhai is secretary, Jacob Zupnick is treasurer, and Abraham Einhorn is chairman of the board of the DDC of New York.

Kaufman addressed that the ‘new leadership pledged to have all Club members working together and to initiate the changes necessary for the organization to play a prominent role in the U.S. and world diamond industries’, as reported.
