KGK Group shines at international platform as Honoree at the prestigious JNA Awards 2017

KGK announced finalist in three categories-Manufacturers of the Year-Jewellery, Outstanding Enterprise of the year-India & Sustainability Initiative of the year

The KGK Group, a global leader in the world of precious gemstones and jewellery, is announced as an honoree at the 6th JNA Awards 2017 at a news conference held during the June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair in Hong Kong. The KGK Group has been nominated in three categories – Manufacturer of the Year-Jewellery, Outstanding Enterprise of the Year-India & Sustainability Initiative of the year.

Hailed as highly anticipated event in the jewellery and gemstone industry JNA Awards is a premier awards programme that recognizes and celebrates excellence and achievement in the jewellery and gemstone industry, with a focus on advancing the trade in Asia. Almost 100 qualified entries from 13 countries and regions including China, Figi, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arabs Emirates, South Korea, Switzerland, Vietnam and India participated in the awards.

The 2017 independent judging panel consists of industry experts namely Albert Cheng, Advisor to the World Gold Council, Far East (WGC); James Courage, former Chief Executive of Platinum Guild International and former Chairman of the Responsible Jewellery Council; Lin Qiang, President and Managing Director of the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE); Nirupa Bhatt, Managing Director of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in India and the Middle East; Yasukazu Suwa, Chairman of Suwa & Son, Inc of Japan; and Mark Lee, Research Director of Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy (APIFS).

The winners will be announced at the JNA Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner scheduled for 14 September during the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair.
