JA New York appoints Judy Karlin-Grant as Retailer Liaison

JA New York has appointed Judy Karlin-Grant to its New York City-based team in the role of Retailer Liaison of The JA New York Shows. She will hold the mandate of spearheading the show’s Hosted Buyer Program, as well as serving as the main point of contact for all established and prospective retailers.

“I’m really excited to take on the role as Retailer Liaison for JA New York,” enthused Judy Karlin-Grant. “This show is such a strong, important event, and it’s right in the backyard of many of our key retailers; I’m thrilled that I’ll have the opportunity to convey this message to the masses. I’m also very much looking forward to working with the entire JA New York team!”

Judy would also continue in her role as Client Liaison at RSP Media. She has been the former Show Director of JA New York Shows, a consultant for designers and manufacturers, an organizer of IJDG, as well as an exclusive distributor of La Nouvelle Bague. Her experience of over 40 years in the fine jewelry industry places her in a unique position to successfully fulfill her new role at JA New York.

“Along with the co-location with MJSA and the Antique Watch and Jewelry show, Lueur, and the change in dates to March, Judy’s involvement is going to go a long way to making our March event one of our most robust and energetic shows ever,” explained Drew Lawsky, Group Show Director for JA New York Shows. Drew Lawsky added that there is much excitement and a ‘reinvigorated energy and interest among the exhibitors we’re in touch with on a daily basis’ and “given that this is a year-round position, Judy will also enhance our ability to be in communication with our retailers throughout the year, thereby benefiting all of our shows.”
