The Israeli Diamond Industry will be participating at the JCK Las Vegas with a group of some 60 Israeli companies, a size that will make is one of the largest international groups at the show. JCK Las Vegas is slated between June 5-8, 2017 and is the most important trade show in Israel's number one export market.

According to the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI), the Israel Diamond Pavilion will this year comprise 33 exhibitors, with more than 30 Israeli companies exhibiting at other locations throughout the show. The Israel Diamond Pavilion will again be located in the heart of the Diamond Plaza. IDI will again operate a Lounge at B54051, where refreshments will be served throughout the day.

The GET-DIAMONDS Shows search engine, which enables buyers to search for goods among Israeli exhibitors, will have dedicated stations in two separate locations: in the "First Look" area at the entrance to the show and in the Israel Diamond Pavilion Lounge. The GET-DIAMONDS Shows website will offer access to the search engine from June 4, 2017, in addition to information about Israeli exhibitors and a map of the pavilion.

The United States accounts for about 40 percent of Israel's polished diamond exports. In 2016, Israel’s net polished diamond exports to the U.S. stood at $1.8 billion, out of a total of $4.7 billion.

IDI Chairman Shmuel Schnitzer said, “We are quite optimistic about the JCK Las Vegas show this year. It seems that the diamond industry worldwide is beginning to bounce back. It's no secret that the past few years have been quite challenging, but it looks like we are emerging from the slump. We are seeing steady demand from the U.S. and an upturn in trade with Asia. The United States is our largest market for polished diamonds and we are keen to continue to lead in this market,” he said.
