Israel to be among largest international exhibitor groups at JCK Las Vegas

The Israeli Diamond Industry is participating this year at JCK Las Vegas in a number that is among the largest international exhibitor groups to be seen at the show. Around 60 Israeli diamond companies will be participating at the show, slated from June 3 to June 6, 2016.

IDI Chairman Shmuel Schnitzer said, “It’s no secret that the diamond industry worldwide has been going through trying times. However we are seeing signs of a recovery. The good news is that the American market is doing well and the demand for diamonds is growing. That’s why we are optimistic about JCK Las Vegas this year. The United States is our largest market for polished diamonds and we are working hard to maintain our key position in this market,” he said.

Last year 40 percent of Israel’s net polished diamond exports of $5 billion went to the American market, worth a total of $2 billion.

According to the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI), the Israel Diamond Pavilion will this year at JCK Las Vegas comprise 34 exhibitors, with more than 30 Israeli diamond companies exhibiting at other locations throughout the show. The Israel Diamond Pavilion has been moved this year to a central location in the heart of the Diamond Plaza. IDI will be operating a Lounge at B54051. IDI will be inviting clients to a special toast on Sunday, June 5th.

Find Your Diamond stations will be placed in two separate locations: in the "First Look" area at the entrance to the show and in the Israel Diamond Pavilion Lounge. The proprietary system, which enables buyers to search the inventory of all Israeli exhibitors at the show has been made accessible on smartphones.
