India's rough imports dip by 35%

India’s rough diamond imports in August dipped by 35 percent to US$431 million, while in the same month last year they stood at US$664. Total imports of cut and polished diamonds were US $597 million, as compared to US $598 last year, thus declining by a miniscule 0.20 percent.
