The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the gem & jewellery industry in India, in its effort to cater to the rapidly emerging Middle East Gems & Jewellery market is organizing India Pavilion at this year's Vicenzaoro Dubai (VOD) scheduled from April 14 to April 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai. After the successful association with Vicenzaoro Dubai in 2015, GJEPC is all set to showcase India’s scintillating collections in its 2nd edition too.

GJEPC Chairman Praveenshankar Pandya says, “India’s central role as the sourcing center for diamonds and precious stones jewellery is renowned world-wide. For years traders and visitors to India have enjoyed the craftsmanship, quality, design and cost efficiency – we are happy to bring the source to Dubai - the most promising destination for the gemstones and jewellery trade in recent times. For India, ME is a leading export destination when it comes to Gems and Jewellery with 31% of India’s Gem & Jewellery Exports targeted to the region. It is thus imperative to explore opportunities to nurture international trade relations, at VOD the most apt gateway to the ME and the world. Fiera di Vicenza and Dubai World Trade Centre are two leading organizations that are committed to the growth of the gems and jewellery industry which is in line with the GJEPC's vision. This association will help in further improving and strengthening the trade in the Middle East, an important gem & jewellery destination for India.”

The India Pavilion showcases 66 leading Indian manufacturers & retailers spread across 90 booths, who exhibit a vast array of diamonds, gems & jewellery developed especially for the visitors of the VoD show.  The Products displayed at the Pavillion offer a wide variety of options in Pret, Couture and Bridal wear. For the first time GJEPC displays an India Product Gallery, that is a true revelation of India’s Craftsmanship and Design sensibility.
