IIGJ conducts 3rd Certificate Distribution Ceremony

Celebrations at the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ), Tardeo, Mumbai, for its 3rd Certificate Distribution Ceremony amplified with the presence of dignitaries from India’s gem and jewellery industry. Chief Guest –Mr. Praveenshankar Pandya-Director IIGJ and leading light of the Gems & Jewellery Industry was welcomed by Mr.Vasant Mehta-Chairman –IIGJ. Mrs. Namita Pandya – Convener – IIGJ Tardeo, Mr.Nirmalkumar Barmecha – Director – IIGJ, Mr.Prabir Chatterjee-Convener-Advisory Board-IIGJ , Col.S.K.Arora ( Retd)-Head IIGJ Mumbai & Mr.Nirmalkumar Jhangiani-Manager-IIGJ Tardeo were also present on the occasion.

The event celebrated the completion and achievements of the students. The 3rd Certificate Distribution Ceremony of IIGJ Tardeo was held at the Navinchandra Auditorium alongwith the Graduation Ceremony of Diploma batch 7 of IIGJ Andheri H.O.

The work of the students of the Diploma 7 batch was showcased, who also shared their experiences and their growth journey at the institute. The BEST student trophy was bagged by Ms.Simi Chandran from Kerala, followed by Ms. Shweta Mehra as second runner-up and Mr.Harsh Gandhi from Udaipur as third runner-up. Certificates were awarded to the students of both batches.

In his keynote address, Shri Vasant Mehta spoke of the growing competition in the industry (both in the domestic and international markets) and advised students on the road to success. Mr. Praveenshankar Pandya traced the growth and history of the Indian Gems & Jewellery Designing & Manufacturing Industry and encouraged the students to outbeat their counterparts in the Italian and Hong Kong industries.
