IGI's Retail Support Program helps jewelers perfect a retail merchandising session
The program organized for the team of Jagannath Gangaram Pednekar Jewellers portrays IGI's prowess at empowering retailers across the country.

IGI School of Gemology, the educational extension of the International Gemological Institute, IGI India, conducted a retail support program for the staff members of Jagannath Gangaram Pednekar Jewellers. The session attended by their retail team, focused on the significance of being equipped with requisite product knowledge in order to complete a sale  task effectively.

The session paid emphasis on the importance of extending an unforgettable  involvement to the customers  in retail merchandising. Understanding the nuances of diamond grading and the guidelines to analyze the customer's demand are critical to a perfect retail experience. These help in creating an enhanced brand image and in developing long term relationships with the customers. The team was made aware of the various aspects in a sale, the technique of handling a situation and analyzing the  customer, their needs and handling the various queries that they might have. They were also trained  in the art of reading an IGI Report.

 The Retail Support Program initiated by IGI empowers the retail sales team upgrade their knowledge and handle queries more effectively. It helps jewelry brands enhance their expertise thereby increasing their brand image and sales quotient.
