IDI offers consumers discounts for Cyber Monday through Israel Diamond Deals

As Cyber Monday draws near, the Israeli Diamond Industry is offering consumers attractive deals on loose diamonds and diamond jewellery. It is doing so through its e-commerce platform Israel Diamond Deals which was launched live today. The website is developed by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI), and offers fancy color and white diamonds, diamond jewelry from some of Israel’s leading companies at discounts of up to 50 percent.

IDI is providing the sales platform at no cost to sellers, thereby giving consumers the advantage of enjoying greater discounts than can be expected elsewhere.

Israel Diamond Deals was launched last year on Cyber Monday and lapped up good response. It provides consumers direct access to one of the world’s leading diamond centers.

This year the website offers hand-picked diamonds and diamond jewelry in the categories of polished white and natural fancy color stones, engagement rings, right hand rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets. Discounts on the items range from 6 percent to 50 percent and list prices start at $700 and go up to over $450,000. The most expensive item is a 6.82 carat fancy vivid yellow radiant diamond of VS2 clarity with a GIA report, selling for $366,000 after a 20 percent discount.

The Cyber Monday Israel Diamond Deals sales platform will be live from November 23 – December 4. It will be supported by an intensive marketing campaign in English, Hebrew, Chinese and Russian through the internet, social media, email and banners.

IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar said, “Israeli companies are interested in expanding their reach into consumer markets, especially via digital marketing channels. IDI’s role is to provide them with the tools to take advantage of these technologies, easily and inexpensively.” Avidar added that IDI’s digital department has empowered the Israeli Diamond Industry with a variety of technological tools. “We are committed to making the fullest possible use of technology in marketing Israeli diamonds,” he said. Each of the Israeli companies featured on the site is experienced at fulfilling B2C sales."
