During the Hanukkah holiday of 2016, the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) continued its traditional philanthropy of spreading cheer among sick children, as per reports. This holiday’s sharing took place at the Dana-Dwek Children's Hospital.

A delegation including IDE President Yoram Dvash, Board Member Ilan Samuel and Executive Vice President of the IDE Yehezkel (Hezi) Blum, Maccabee Tel Aviv’s stars Guy Pnini and Yogev Ohayon visited the hospital.

The gifts and sufganiyah – the traditional round jelly doughnuts of Hanukkah were distributed among children of the hospital in different wards. A special gift – a Maccabee Tel Aviv trolley, the team’s flag and a branded keychain, as well as Hanukkah gelt, chocolate coins and a dreidel were also distributed.

The IDE members will also visit the Safra Children's Hospital. IDE President Yoram Dvash said: “IDE members donate to Safra Children's Hospital and Dana Dana-Dwek Children's Hospital all year long and help whenever they can. Once a year, in Hanukkah, we arrive to bring a little joy to these heroic kids. We’re proud to be able to give them these humble gifts, and wish them a speedy recovery and a Happy Hanukkah”, as per reports.

The IDE delegation was accompanied by senior staff of the hospital, reports say.
