IDCA honours Gemfields as ‘Gem Mining Company of the Year’

The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association has awarded Gemfields, PLC as the ‘Gem Mining Company of the Year’. The award was accepted by Mr. Ian Harebottle, the Chief Executive Officer of Gemfields at the IDCA grand gala event during the AGTA Tucson Gem Show on February 3, 2011.

Mr. Harebottle attributed much of the company’s success to the hard work and dedication of his entire team and that of their various industry partners. He recognised the prestige associated with the award, considering the very important part that the IDCA and USA played within the gemstone industry as a whole.
