Harley-Davidson has collaborated with Swiss watch retailer Bucherer and Swiss custom house Bünderbike to launch Harley Davidson Blue Edition. The custom bike is both: a luxurious product that does not look the same - and a "really bad part". The thunder of 100 hp, exciting, individual design and an unprecedented refinement give the bike of superlatives a magical and animalistic attraction. With a value of 1.888 million Swiss francs (US$1.9 million), the bike is the most expensive Harley-Davidson in the world.

Under a glass dome made of cambered bulletproof glass sits another piece of jewellery of special value in an extendable safe: the six-handled solitaire ring Heaven with the 5.40 ct. Diamond.

In a second vault on the right half of the tank is the custom made, which is based on the model Patravi TravelTec II. The dial of this unique item adorns elements of a motorcycle engine. So that the vibration of the engine does not harm the mechanical movement, the clock is mounted in a kind of cage with a sophisticated holder made of silicone rings. "It has been a long journey," says Samir Merdanovic, Carl F. Bucherer's Head of Manufacture Movements, on the development, which has many things to think about.

A special technique was needed to make the Harley-Davidson glow in that intense blue. In a first step, the entire motorcycle was silvered, after which six layers of paint were applied using a secret painting process.

Its perfection finds this unique only in connection with the watchmaker and jeweller. This is also a world premiere: never before have a manufactory watch and jewels been installed in a motorcycle. The Dizzler rotary ring from the Bucherer Fine Jewelery collection has been adapted for the Harley-Davidson BLUE EDITION to be mounted on the handles of the handlebar. "That was a technical challenge," says Jürg Ludwig Jr., Managing Director of Bündnerbike. "In order for the rings to really hold, a special procedure has been used that guarantees absolutely firm hold. How this works remains a secret of the Bündnerbike-Schmiede ", Ludwig explains. Another Dizzler diamond pair was installed at the fork. A large version of the Dizzler ring can be found in the left half of the tank.
