HRD Antwerp announced that it has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Damiani Group, the leading company in the Italian manufacturing and trade sector of jewellery and high level luxury watches.

Following a successful visit to the HRD Antwerp facilities for distributors of the complementary Damiani brand ‘Salvini’ in February, the Damiani Group and HRD Antwerp have now strengthened their partnership by means of a collaboration agreement.

The partnership agreement between HRD Antwerp & Damiani holds significant importance in regards growing consumer confidence throughout the diamond and diamond jewellery pipeline as both parties share core values such as tradition, craftsmanship, know-how and stringent quality control.

As a direct result of the newfound partnership, Damiani will actively seek to further develop the commercialisation of the “Anversa” collection, a high end jewellery line by the Salvini brand, made exclusively with HRD Antwerp certified diamonds.

“Being a leading global producer and retailer of high end diamond jewellery, the support of Damiani by means of being a true HRD Antwerp brand ambassador is significant” explains Marc Descheemaecker - Independent Member of the HRD Antwerp Board of Directors.

“The fact that Damiani has chosen HRD Antwerp as its preferred supplier for diamond certification holds significant weight within the jewellery industry and greatly contributes to promoting the Antwerp Diamond Heritage throughout the world,” Descheemaecker continues.

“It’s a very important occasion to reinforce the partnership with HRD Antwerp, which has already been being successful in the past. This agreement represents the beginning of a positive path and represents a new worldwide step for Italy,” says Guido Grassi Damiani - President of the Damiani Board of Directors.

As part of the MoU, Damiani will continue to promote the “Anversa” collection by its Salvini brand, by means of organising visits for its employees to the HRD Antwerp laboratories within the framework of their appointment as “HRD Antwerp Ambassadors”. Damiani also intends to further develop collections exclusively featuring HRD Antwerp Certified diamonds.
