Ghanasingh Be True launches haute couture jewellery collection

A new jewellery collection was launched under the banner of Ghanasingh Be True, by Gautam Ghanasingh, at a recent event in Mumbai. The couture jewellery collection is designed by Maheka Mirpuri on the lines of incorporating luxury, glamour, passion and excellence.

The jewellery is inspired by the 108 year old legacy of Gautum Ghanasingh, as such it incudes iconic jewels. Limited edition pieces crafted with Burmese Rubies, South Sea Pearls, Uncut Diamonds, Cabachon Emeralds and Hammered Gold, are part of the collection. Karisma Kapoor, highlightedthe gradeur of the collection adorning a deep emerald Maharaani Haar with an uncut diamond choker.

The private preview for a select clientele included friends, family and guests like Karisma Kapoor, Pooja Bedi, Deepti Bhatnagar, Madhoo Shah, Poonam Dhillon, Rashmi Uday Singh, Monica Vaziralli, Dilip Vengsarkar, Arzan Khambatta amongst others .

Speaking on the occasion, Gautam Ghanasingh, Creative Director Ghanasingh Be True said, ‘It is fantastic to be celebrating our 108th year anniversary through this creative adventure with Maheka. Pure contemporary designs with innovations and modern appeal is a part of our jewellery design culture. We at Ghanasingh Be True will continue to produce limited edition pieces which will transcend time and passing trends.’

Riding high after having just won Best Couture Jeweller of the Year award 2013, the celebration hasn’t stopped at Ghanasingh Be True.
