Diamond workers to take up 'Swachch Bharat Abhiyan' in Varachha

The Surat Diamond Association (SDA) and Ratnakalakar Sangh is organising the cleanliness campaign in the diamond hub of Varachha as a part of the 'Swachch Bharat Abhiyan' on Thursday, says a report.

Diamond workers, diamond unit owners and leaders from the industry will participate in the cleanliness campaign in the diamond hub of Varachha in large numbers. The diamond workers from the units in Varachha will carry broomsticks and dustbins and clean the lanes and main road from the SDA's diamond hospital to Ganga-Jamuna Society in Varachha, adds a report.

Besides, the SDA is planning to chalk out a detailed programme for taking up the cleanliness drive in different areas.
