Diamond Producers Association Names Grant Mobley as New Trade Director

The Diamond Producers Association (DPA), an international alliance of the world's leading diamond mining companies, on 12th April 2018, announced the appointment of Grant Mobley as the U.S. Trade Director.

Mobley, a diamonds graduate from the Gemological Institute of America, joins the DPA with over 13 years of experience in the jewellery industry, working in a vast range of fields including retail, manufacturing, and sourcing. In his newly created role, Mobley will lead the organization’s trade relations in the U.S.

“The addition of Grant to DPA will bring years of deep experience across the diamond supply chain, creating an important link to the industry,” said Deborah Marquardt DPA Chief Marketing Officer. “The depth of his knowledge, industry expertise, and passion for diamonds will be instrumental as we continue to grow the ‘Real is Rare’ platform.”

Mobley most recently lead sales for Pluczenik Diamond Company, a world leading diamond sightholder and manufacturer. A sought-after spokesperson, he has been quoted in multiple national and international publications such as Brides, Cosmopolitan, W Magazine, and more. Mobley has also been active in the largest and most important jewelry trade organizations in North America including IJO, RJO, CBG, SJTA, and Plumb Club.
