DMCC recorded a 10 percent increase in its member company registrations in the first six months of the year, which it attributes to its digital transformation. DMCC is one of the world’s leading commodity hubs for trade and enterprise and the largest and fastest growing Free Zone in the UAE with over 10,600 member companies.

In 2013, DMCC launched an IT Free Zone transformation initiative, which not only moved all its Free Zone operations to Salesforce (one of the most innovative IT platforms in the world), but also ‎transformed all of its touch points and interactions with member companies. All services are made available and accessible anywhere at any time on any device.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC, said,“Our transformation has enabled us to outperform our growth targets whilst allowing us to interconnect our entire community. You can find all our services and products online. Innovation and technology play a major role in how we at DMCC interact with our stakeholders and facilitate trade across the world.”

Today, DMCC is the only Free Zone in the UAE company registrations and getting licensed is done completely online. The DMCC Free Zone is going paperless with the IT transformation initiative and has ensured that all online documents come with a unique secure code which is easily verifiable by any authority.
