Amitabh Bachchan inaugurates Kalyan Jewellers’ stores in Lucknow and Bhopal

Lucknow came to a standstill as crowds jostled to get a glimpse of the iconic Amitabh Bachchan at the inauguration of the first Kalyan Jewellers outlet at Shahnajaf Rd, Hazratganj, on 6^th October. Kalyan Jewellers is India’s largest organised jewellery brand and this is the second showroom of the company in Uttar Pradesh following Noida.

Shri Bachchan addressed the crowds in his baritone voice and spoke about his long association with Kalyan Jewellers. He was accompanied by his wife Smt. Jaya Bachchan, Kalyan Jewellers Chairman and Managing Director T.S.Kalyanaraman and Executive Directors Rajesh Kalyanaraman and Ramesh Kalyanaraman. The celebrated couple made a whirlwind trip to the city. Earlier in the day the couple inaugurated the company’s first outlet on Raj Bhavan Road, Malviya Nagar in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. After addressing the huge gathering outside the showroom, the couple cut the ceremonial ribbon at the foyer of the showroom before taking a tour of the showroom. Amitabh Bachchan has been the brand ambassador of Kalyan Jewellers since 2012.
