4th Gems & Jewellery Leadership Summit encourages trade members to Lead & Learn

The 4th Gems & Jewellery Leadership Summit, a platform organised by All India Gem & Jewellery Federation (GJF) to empower industry players into becoming more effective leaders presented an opportunity for trade members to ‘Lead & Learn’ and thus grow their business.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bachhraj Bamalwa, Chairman GJF said- “Our aim is to deliver a world class leadership summit that empowers our players to LEARN & LEAD. Our objective is to achieve Learning's that we can follow that will bring about radically accelerated growth, profitability and success in our industry.” The event was held on 21 February 2013 in Mumbai. It was organised by All India Gem & Jewellery Federation (GJF) supported by title partner BVC Logistic, Knowledge partner –GIA, powered by P & S Jewellery Ltd , associate partner Pranda Jewellry.

Prominent speakers Mr. Govind Shikhande, MD and CEO, Shoppers Stop, Mr. Vijay Batra, Think Inc shared their insights with the audience which included retailers, jewellers and manufacturers. The summit dealt with topics like ‘Volatility in Gold Prices’, ‘Design and Innovation- Key to Growth’ as well as ‘Retail Management’.
