Kanubhai Asodaria, an owner of a small diamond firm in India could not believe his luck when he saw that the diamond purchased by him almost 15yrs ago took the shape of a holy Indian deity. The 182.53 carat rough diamond that has significant outlines of a trunk, eyes, ears and even legs was mined from South Africa.

This rare yellowish grey stone which is approximately 48 mm high, 32 mm wide and 20 mm thick and weighs 36.50 grams is certified by the central government-run Indian Diamond Institute (IDI). Asodaria has shown his desire to not polish or sell the diamond under any circumstances.
